Rinne just blinked at her friend before embracing her into a tight hug. “It gonna be fine Miyuki. You’re a wonderful person, and when people look at you there just attracted to you in every way possible.” Rinne stepped back and looked at her. “Right now your a understudy but…” she blinked back a few tears. “When you walk out onto that stage you will be successor. So make me proud okay?” she pulled something out of her pocket, and held it out to her. “This is for you, a little present to calm you down.”

Miyuki sighed, letting out all her stress. Being with her friends always calmed her down. She nodded fervently, also holding back tears, and hugged Rinne back, knowing that this would be the last time - until she graduated - that she’d been spending time with her friend as Takahashi Miyuki. She took the object that Rinne handed her, tucked it into her back pocket for luck, and stood up.

“Thanks so much, Rinne. I’ve calmed down now.”

She headed out of the changing rooms, new-found determination on her face, ready to face the crowd and emerge as Jurina, the second.

She got up and smiled at her friend, before running her fingers through her multicolored hair. “You know Miyu, if I do succeed Miichan, I’m gonna cut my hair. I’m going to start fresh like she did. I want to shine brighter then any other Miichan, including the original.”  she looked up at the sky  for a second before looking down. “Because when I do something, I need to give it my all.”

Miyuki grinned and patted Rinne on the back, glad that she was back to normal. This was the Rinne that she had grown to love, and she hated to see her friend crying and down. She plopped down on the couch again, also looking up though not at anything in particular.

“Succession, huh…”

Succession had been on Miyuki’s mind since day one, and the person she had wanted to succeed had never changed. Of course, if she did succeed that person, she would be the first ever to receive the name - Jurina the 2nd. Could she live up to the lofty expectations the original had set?

‘Of course I can.' If Rinne was going to set the bar so high for herself, what other choice did Miyuki have? She smiled at Rinne. “Thanks, Rinne. You helped me find my resolve again as well.”

rinne-amaya:

For a second she just stared at the older girl, taking in her words and comprehending them. “Like Miichan did…” she wiped the tears from her eyes and smiled at her. “Your right.. Sorry about that… I just get worried that I’m never going to get a name…” she shook her head and looked at Miyu. “But you’re right. Friendships can’t get be broken easily…”

“That’s the spirit! And even if you don’t get a name, I’m sure you’ll be awesome anyway!” Miyuki winked. “After all, you don’t have to succeed to be radiant, right? Just look at the 77th generation.”

She stood up and stretched, tired out a bit. Miyuki wasn’t the type to have heart to heart talks very often - she preferred actions over words. But at times like this, you had to sit down and talk.

rinne-amaya:

She wiped the tears from her eyes and looked at her, “Everyone is either graduating or succeeding… and I here I am… Just being Rinne..” she looked down and sighed. “I want to get stronger, I want to become a better singer and dancer but…” she stopped as tears started to form. “I keep failing… I just don’t want to be alone.”

“Hey, hey,” Miyuki said, gently putting her hand under the other girl’s chin and lifting it up to look her in the eyes. “You won’t be alone, okay? No matter what happens. Even if everyone graduates or succeeds, we’re all still here, aren’t we? Nothing will have changed, except for our names. And bonds of friendship aren’t broken that easily.” She wiped away a single tear that had begun to form on the corner of Rinne’s eye, and smiled at her. “Everyone fails, Rinne. It’s how we get stronger in the first place - we learn from our mistakes, and we grow from them. If you keep failing, keep trying! Even the successors now fail sometimes, but they never get down about it. Chin up, Rinne! Don’t be overcome by your mistakes…Overcome them!”

rinne-amaya:

“Anything… I don’t want to think of akb0048 anymore! I just want to relax… I don’t want to feel the pain of losing my friends…” she wasn’t looking at the older girl, but it was obvious she was crying from the cracks in her voice.

Miyuki was alarmed, and rightly so. She gently took Rinne by the hand and led her over to a nearby couch, where she sat the other girl down and put an arm around her small, frail shoulders. She could feel Rinne trembling, as sobs racked her body.

“I’m not going anywhere, okay? I’ll always be here with you,” Miyuki said, trying to comfort the younger girl. “Do you…want to talk about what happened? Or no?”

rinne-amaya:

“I’m lonely…” she hugged her friend and then got up and held out a hand. “And bored.. Lonely and bored! It’s a terrible combination!” she was really screaming it was more a scream-talk sort of deal.

“Woah woah, calm down! It’s okay!” Miyuki said, grabbing Rinne’s hand and holding it tight. She knew exactly how it felt to be lonely. After all, even though she had all these friends now in 00, the days where she lived alone in that big, empty house were never far from her thoughts. “I’ll stay with you, okay? What do you want to do, Rinne-chan?”

rinne-amaya:

“Miyu!” Rinne tackled hugged the girl without even thinking about it. “Miyu! Miyu!” she looked like something was wrong. Her hair which was usually nice and somewhat neat, was sprawled around her head in messy curls. Her body was and practicing outfit was covered in sweat, like she had been running around for too long. “Something bad happened!"

Miyuki was wandering around the dorms as usual, on the hunt for something to eat while humming unconsciously to herself. There seemed to be less food around lately…Either that, or the other members had started to hide their food from Miyuki, knowing that she would eat anything that she got her hands on.

She was suddenly tackle hugged out of nowhere, and fell to the ground with an "Oomph!” Looking up, she saw Rinne’s slightly panicked looking face, her hair all a mess and sweating all over.

“W-what’s wrong, Rinne?” Miyuki asked incredulously.

Some changes to Miyuki’s character

//outofmiyu: So, thanks to some great critique that I got from Paruru/Tochi-mun, I’ve decided to change some things about Miyuki. Whenever she finds herself in an AU now, she’ll be in her KKS costume like always, but it won’t be able to change, the way I’ve done it so far. The thread that will mostly be affected by this will be the one I have with Taiga, and to a lesser extent, Morie’s and Shizuku’s (though I haven’t introduced that bit into those threads just yet, I don’t think).

The crazy, shape-shifting animals are now GONE from Miyuki’s home. The only thread that will be affected by this is the one I have with Rinne, so @Rinne-mun, if you want me to write a new starter and ditch that old thread which was going off in a crazy tangent, just give me a holla ^^ The big cats stay though. Just cause I like big cats ><

Miyuki’s kirara will be removed from her character, and this affects all the threads I currently have running so I’ll try and do it gracefully.

That’s all for now! Thanks again to Tochi-mun for sending me that great message before regarding these issues, and to everyone else, feel free to tell me if you feel I’m going a bit overboard with my threads…I tend to do that ><

Thanks, Miyuki-mun OUT!

rinne-amaya:

She gasped and nodded. She felt slightly weak at the sight of a shape shifting animal, but after the shock was over she just shook it off like everything else she saw today. “I do…” she swallowed and took a single step back. She didn’t know why she was so nervous. After everything she saw today why was a small animal like that scare her?

“Perfect! Now, we just have to not get caught by Tsubasa-san,” Miyuki said cheerfully. She looked at the puppy down at her feet, and it morphed into a bird that fluttered up and landed on her shoulder. “Nami’ll follow us from up above as we find a victim,” Miyuki said, grinning. Now this was what she enjoyed - playing pranks. She enjoyed pranks almost as much as she enjoyed entertainment, and her friends sometimes pointed out that if she wasn’t so obsessed with idols, she probably would’ve become a comedian or a con-man or something after taking the next step after pranks.

rinne-amaya:

She just stood there in shock. “Oh.. It won’t bite? Good…” she couldn’t move her body felt paralyze. She also felt that if she did move she would be eaten… Thats when two things hit her. A. Today was a bad day to get eaten. B. She would probably get eaten if she didn’t stay close to her hostess. She swallowed and quietly followed her without saying a word.

Miyuki stepped over Maki, who was still lying on the ground staring Rinne down, and gave her a little nudge in the ribs. The creature snapped at Miyuki’s foot, grumbled a bit and wandered to the corner of the room and settled down there, giving Rinne and Miyuki a lot more breathing room. Miyuki opened the cupboard, and pulled out a box that seemed to be…shaking a little. She grinned at Rinne.

“Alright, this is it. This is the one that we’ll be having some fun with. She’s really friendly so disregard her form…Well, whatever form she’s taken so far, anyway.” Miyuki opened the box and a massive spider jumped out at her…Then promptly morphed into a giant rat, and then into a kitten. Miyuki giggled and put the thing that was now a kitten down on the ground, where it became a lizard. “This little one is Nami. As you can see, she’s a shapeshifting creature…She came with Maki, as I found them in the same place. Anyway, she becomes whatever creature I’m thinking of at the moment, as long as it’s roughly the same size as her.” She picked the lizard off the ground as it became a puppy, and grinned wickedly at Rinne.

“Now, do you see how I propose to have some fun with a shapeshifting creature who can turn into a massive cockroach, spider, or rat?”
