AU - Matsui Jurina, the entertainer

princess-hyuuga:

It was an exciting day; Hinata had her FINALLY day off. It had been quite a while now; the endless missions after missions. Kurenai Sensei sure was trying to keep them busy, almost out of the village. Nothing had come up for them now, and the Hokage had ordered a rest for a few weeks. She was quite appreciative of this, since the sides of her eyes were hurting from rushing Chakra for the Byakugan.

The sun was set high, soft breeze cooling off anything that might be too ‘hot’. Her young heiress decided that it would be good to walk around the village, since a few exciting things were happening around here. Wearing a simple black shirt and black pants, she decided it would be a good change then being in her normal clothing. Hinata needed a bit of a relaxation from the world outside’ wanting to just breath.

But she too was in deep day dreaming of what to do, a soft bump on her shoulder. ‘Umph’ came from her mouth, her legs stepping back from teh force. Blood quickly rushed to her light cheeks, causing the familiar blush to cross them. The soft sound of someone apologizing caught her ears, as she quickly bowed towards them.

“N-no, you are quite alright. I w-wasn’t watching where I WAS going. Please…"

Hinata peeked up from her long blue hair, letting the lilac yes look up at her. Embarrassment was crossed all over her face, not sure what to do. She didn’t mean to bump into the girl, who was also bowing towards her and apologizing.

"A-are you alright?”

Jurina blinked in surprise from the rather weak response by the girl. She had been told to avoid noble families if she could, as they tended more to be entrenched in tradition and whatnot - in other words, they might discourage entertainment, which was seen as a distraction to soldiers by some.

‘Is she really a Hyuuga?' Jurina thought, surveying the girl with her bright green eyes. There was no doubt about it. Those eyes could only belong to someone of that family - they were as unmistakable as the Sharingan of the Uchihas.

There was a rumour though, of a young Hyuuga girl who wasn’t as upfront as most nobles were - nor was she as snobby, or stuck-up, and all those other things Jurina associated with high-born people. Could this be…?

“I’m alright, 'twas but a small bump,” Jurina replied, straightening up and relaxing a bit, but still not letting her guard down. She had had too many bad experiences with nobles to let that happen. “I get worse than that on stage. Are you Hyuuga Hinata-sama, by any chance?” Nevertheless, she didn’t forget to add the honorific - despite her dislike of highborns, she was still required to respect them. After all, it was a social grave for an entertainer to offend a noble; their career could come crashing down as fast as they had uttered the words.
