She wiped the tears from her eyes and looked at her, “Everyone is either graduating or succeeding… and I here I am… Just being Rinne..” she looked down and sighed. “I want to get stronger, I want to become a better singer and dancer but…” she stopped as tears started to form. “I keep failing… I just don’t want to be alone.”
“Hey, hey,” Miyuki said, gently putting her hand under the other girl’s chin and lifting it up to look her in the eyes. “You won’t be alone, okay? No matter what happens. Even if everyone graduates or succeeds, we’re all still here, aren’t we? Nothing will have changed, except for our names. And bonds of friendship aren’t broken that easily.” She wiped away a single tear that had begun to form on the corner of Rinne’s eye, and smiled at her. “Everyone fails, Rinne. It’s how we get stronger in the first place - we learn from our mistakes, and we grow from them. If you keep failing, keep trying! Even the successors now fail sometimes, but they never get down about it. Chin up, Rinne! Don’t be overcome by your mistakes…Overcome them!”
