Not just a regular fever…?

Having successfully convinced her friends (or so she thought) that she was alright and that the fever was just a passing thing, Miyuki ended up attending dance practice. Her movements though, were sluggish and slow, to the point where she was reprimanded several times by a surprised Ritsuko-sensei - after all, Miyuki definitely wasn’t someone who was usually associated with the words ‘low energy’. But that was exactly what was happening with her today, and the result was showing in her dance.

She sat down on the floor during one of the breaks, breathing hard with her head in her hands. She had never felt this tired before after a mere 30 minutes of dancing - she didn’t even think she felt this tired after the entire session. Her headache had, in the meantime, gotten worse, and her face was flushed, covered with droplets of sweat. She realised then that Ritsuko had left the room, and five minutes later, returned with…

…Tsubasa.

Miyuki groaned.

'Was I really that bad that she had to bring Tsubasa in?' Miyuki thought, as the teacher appeared to whisper something to Tsubasa while pointing at Miyuki. She stood up slowly, and almost stumbled right into Tsubasa. “Hi there, Tsubasa-san,” she said, smiling weakly, a shadow of her usual cheeky grin. “Come to discipline me on my terrible dancing?”
