Miyuki (finally) meets Suzuko!
“Oh, you know me!” Miyuki said brightly, helping Suzuko to her feet. “It’s always a bit of a surprise when someone from the legendary 77th generation kenkyuusei knows my name! Even though everyone knows everyone here, it’s still a bit of a jolt to me, just like when one of the successors calls me out.”
She examined Suzuko, once again feeling the…Calm, mature aura the other girl appeared to give off. It was as though Suzuko were the older one out of the two, although Miyuki was sure that she herself was the oldest kenkyuusei at the moment apart from Kanata…Even though she acted more like the younger Sonata at times.
“What was Beginner?” Miyuki asked, cocking her head to one side. She turned her head around as though listening for the sound of music playing from somewhere, but not hearing anything, shrugged and turned her attention back to Suzuko…While starting to hum Beginner again, picking right up where she left off, once again unconsciously.
“I don’t think my generation is quite legendary…yet. Though I’m sure Ac-chan and Chieri-san are already legendary.” She said, mind already drifting to the huge mark the duo had made. Their generation though as a whole had made a big splash.
She would think more on the subject later, for now Suzuko stared at Miyuki, who had gone back to humming again. She’d heard this was common for Miyuki, and Suzuko was a little bit curious to see her unconscious humming in action.
Perhaps she should film it?
“Well, those two are obviously the biggest hits,” Miyuki said vacantly, her mind obviously somewhere else. Her eyes focused again, and she grinned fiercely. “But I’m gonna pass both of them! I’ve got a bit of a limited time to do so…But I will, just you watch!” She pumped her fist against her chest, as though assuring herself that she could definitely do it. The tone in her voice was completely certain, however - in Miyuki’s mind, nothing but the top was enough for her.
Miyuki blinked and looked back at Suzuko, who had stopped talking all of a sudden and seemed to be observing her. “W-what’s wrong?” she asked, completely aware of her own flat chest that had been on the tail end of many jokes over the years. It clearly wasn’t what Suzuko was observing, but Miyuki tended to be oversensitive about her chest.
