Miyuki surveyed the sweatshirt, and tilted her head to one side. “It’s cute, but who’s that funny-looking dude on the front?” Some of the people within earshot gave her shocked looks, their faces clearly showing their surprise that she didn’t know who Elvis was. But it was to be expected; Miyuki had an extensive knowledge of music, but that was from her time. She had never bothered to concentrate on musical icons of the past, and as such only knew of AKB in the current time.
She shrugged and took the sweatshirt, going into the changing rooms to try it on along with a pair of skinny jeans which would’ve showcased her long legs very well. That was one thing she had confidence in, at least. Her freakish height also meant she had extremely long legs..,Even though in her mind, that still didn’t make up for her flat chest. As such, she always resorted to wearing loose-fitting shirts like the one she had picked out before, to bring the emphasis away from her chest and towards her slender form instead.
She put on the sweatshirt and jeans, and took a whirl in front of the mirror, admiring the look. It was different from what she usually wore, that was for sure - but she’d have to trust Taiga on the fashion of the current time. Peeking her head out from the changing room curtain, she called out to Taiga. “Hey! Come check this out and tell me how it looks!”
Taiga felt her grip on the hanger loosen for a moment, as a bewildered expression crossed her face. She doesn’t know the KING of rock?! Taiga shook her head, reminding herself that this was a girl from the future, and the poor people didn’t know about the king. She allowed Miyuki to take the shirt, and she turned her attention to the other articles of clothing as the girl left to try it on.
Running her fingers through the clothes as she past by, Taiga’s eyes scanned her surrounding area. She clicked her heels as she turned when she heard her name being called.
“Coming!” She called back, walking towards the curtains, allowing her hands to run through each clothing she passed. When she arrived, she motioned for Miyuki to exit the changing room.
Miyuki jumped out of the changing room with no hesitation whatsoever, without the usual nervousness that some girls had when showing off a new article of clothing to their friends. Although she didn’t want to act cocky, Miyuki was confident in her ability to look good in anything - her tall, slender build was similar to Shinoda Mariko’s, and besides, she was an idol. If she didn’t have the self-confidence that she’d look cute, the fans would likely feel that.
She twirled around in front of Taiga, grinning. The twirl was more of a dance move than a normal spin, once again attributed to her being an idol; she didn’t notice it herself, but others would have. “How’s it look?” Miyuki asked, cocking her head to one side while glancing at the mirror, admiring her own legs and form. ’Guess this freakish height really does work out…Sometimes.’
