Miyuki (finally) meets Suzuko!
Miyuki wandered aimlessly out of her dorm room, humming and dancing along to ‘Beginner’, albeit unconsciously. She had been trying hard to lose her habit of unconsciously humming and dancing while walking around, but it had seemingly started to come back…Although she noticed a lot faster nowadays, as opposed to when she would do it for hours and not realize till she bumped into someone.
Which unfortunately, she did today.
“Ah!” Miyuki cried out, surprised. She had felt herself bump into someone shorter than her - although that wasn’t saying much, considering that Miyuki was an almost freakish height for a girl her age, at almost 6 foot tall now and seemingly still growing. “S-sorry about that!” She offered a hand to the girl to get up, and recognized who it was.
“Suzuko-san, right?” Miyuki asked, adding honorifics for once. She wasn’t entirely sure how old the other girl was, but she gave off a rather mature aura for an idol for some reason. ‘Perhaps it’s the glasses?’ Miyuki thought, and shrugged.
Suzuko took the hand, nodding as she got to her feet. She adjusted her glasses as she took in the towering Miyuki. Suzuko offered one of her small, slightly soft, smiles.
“It’s quite alright Miyuki-san.” Suzuko replied, looking up at the other girl.While she hadn’t spoke to her, Suzuko knew of Miyuki.
…And Miyuki was interesting to Suzuko. As Suzuko was 15, around the standard age for Understudies, the 17 year old Miyuki was a bit of an anomaly, an interesting idol with a interesting future.
“That was Beginner, right?” She asked, referring to Miyuki’s song, knowing already the answer.
“Oh, you know me!” Miyuki said brightly, helping Suzuko to her feet. “It’s always a bit of a surprise when someone from the legendary 77th generation kenkyuusei knows my name! Even though everyone knows everyone here, it’s still a bit of a jolt to me, just like when one of the successors calls me out.”
She examined Suzuko, once again feeling the…Calm, mature aura the other girl appeared to give off. It was as though Suzuko were the older one out of the two, although Miyuki was sure that she herself was the oldest kenkyuusei at the moment apart from Kanata…Even though she acted more like the younger Sonata at times.
“What was Beginner?” Miyuki asked, cocking her head to one side. She turned her head around as though listening for the sound of music playing from somewhere, but not hearing anything, shrugged and turned her attention back to Suzuko…While starting to hum Beginner again, picking right up where she left off, once again unconsciously.
