It seemed as if Taiga had lost Miyuki in her train of thought. The teen shifted slightly, watching as passer Byers seemed to just stare at the dreaming girl. But as if, reading Taigas thoughts, Miyuki snapped back to her sense and darted for the closest clothing market.
As the entered the shop, Taiga spotted multiple amounts of outfits that would of done the girl some justice, but before she could point any out she noticed Miyuki had already grabbed some articles.
“To be honest? You should put those down..” Taiga took the clothes from her hands and placed them away. “There’s no rush. Just find something you like..” Taiga shrugged, holding up an vintage mimicking Elvis sweatshirt.
Miyuki surveyed the sweatshirt, and tilted her head to one side. “It’s cute, but who’s that funny-looking dude on the front?” Some of the people within earshot gave her shocked looks, their faces clearly showing their surprise that she didn’t know who Elvis was. But it was to be expected; Miyuki had an extensive knowledge of music, but that was from her time. She had never bothered to concentrate on musical icons of the past, and as such only knew of AKB in the current time.
She shrugged and took the sweatshirt, going into the changing rooms to try it on along with a pair of skinny jeans which would’ve showcased her long legs very well. That was one thing she had confidence in, at least. Her freakish height also meant she had extremely long legs..,Even though in her mind, that still didn’t make up for her flat chest. As such, she always resorted to wearing loose-fitting shirts like the one she had picked out before, to bring the emphasis away from her chest and towards her slender form instead.
She put on the sweatshirt and jeans, and took a whirl in front of the mirror, admiring the look. It was different from what she usually wore, that was for sure - but she’d have to trust Taiga on the fashion of the current time. Peeking her head out from the changing room curtain, she called out to Taiga. “Hey! Come check this out and tell me how it looks!”
