Succession Concert

Pretty much all of that flew right over Tochi’s head, as she stared blankly at Miyuki. She had followed the other stuff, but this was just completely… out there, and bizarre and-

Miyuki’s shriek brought her back to reality once more, and Tochi glanced up at the clock as well, realizing that her friend was right- she was going to be late to her own succession concert if they kept this up!

“Gah! Um… let’s go, then- we’ll catch a ride with Ritsuko-sensei!” Tochi exclaimed, making a grab for Miyuki’s hand to pull her along. As much as she feared another round of Ritsuko breaking probably every traffic law known to man, it was the only way they’d get to the theater on time.

Miyuki didn’t notice the blank look on Tochi’s face; but then, Miyuki usually had a blank expression on her own face anyhow whenever someone started talking for longer than she could manage. Or about something that confused her. Actually, she usually had a blank expression on her face anyhow, as she most likely had no idea what was going on due to her airheadedness.

“Oh, Ritsuko-sensei’s got a car?” Miyuki asked, blinking as she was pulled along. “I can drive too, you know? I don’t have a car, but I do have my license…Although I can’t say I drive that well.” It was the first thing that Miyuki had done when she had turned 16 - get her driver’s license. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have had any way to get around the city, living alone and all. Her driving wasn’t the most reliable, but it was about what you would expect from a 19 year old teenage girl.
