Extra Rehearsal

katacho:

“Oh, Miyuki-senpai!” Chiho said. She was glad it wasn’t someone like Yuuko, or she would have to practice a bit more.

“Well, you know, when you’re not tired, shouldn’t you just dance it out and tire yourself out?” Chiho asked.

“Anyways, I don’t think Suitei Marmalade would work if I wanted to be tired. I think we should do UZA or an SKE48 song, that would tire us out. Besides, tomorrow Ritsuko-sensei said it would be a hard practice day, right?”

Miyuki giggled. “Senpai? Well, I guess I’m older than you, but going by rank, we’re still the same, aren’t we? Just Miyuchan is fine!” She headed over to where Chiho was, and slumped down on the ground next to her, yawning.

“I’m guessing this is your first time doing this at night? Or not, I don’t really concentrate, or you might’ve been using the other rooms. I always come to this one when I can’t fall asleep, and pray that Tsubasa-san doesn’t catch me,” Miyuki said, stretching. “I’m pretty much here every two nights or so, just dancing by myself to exhaust myself. Well…” She yawned again, and grinned. “My mind tells me that I should be tired, and my body acts tired, but for some reason, I still feel a heck of a ton of energy inside me.”

She rolled her shoulders as though to loosen them up, and jumped up off the ground with a “hup!”, a smooth motion that would’ve looked impressive if she had stuck the landing…Which she most certainly didn’t, almost tripping over again as soon as she had jumped on her feet. Somehow regaining her balance, she nodded as though nothing had happened. “Yeah, I’m definitely looking forward to a hard practice! As for the song…I don’t really mind,” she added, loosening up her feet by shaking them out. “Go ahead and choose anything, I might be here long after you leave so while we’re both here, let’s just dance for fun!”
