Extra Rehearsal

katacho:

Chiho couldn’t sleep.

For once, Chiho couldn’t sleep at all.

Even though Ritsuko-sensei had given them a harder beating than usual, Chiho still couldn’t sleep. She was too busy excited over the new dances Ritsuko taught. Well, might as well get it out of her system.

Rinne and Aika seemed to be fast asleep, so Chiho decided to climb out of her bunk quietly, and open the door and went to a practice room. She turned the music onto Suitei Marmalade, a pretty easy song if you knew what you were doing.

Amai, nigai, suppai, dou darou?”

The door slightly opened and Chiho, noticing almost everything around her, quickly turned off the CD and started to apologize.

“Um, I’m sorry for waking you up!”

Miyuki was, as usual, wide awake while everyone else was asleep. Although her huge amount of energy, combined with her age advantage and sports experience meant that the harsh lessons weren’t as physically taxing on her as they were on some of the other, younger girls, it also had a downside - that energy didn’t end. Even at night. And that meant many, many sleepless nights.

Miyuki rolled out of bed, sighing. There was one way she knew to get rid of all that extra energy she had inside her, and that was to completely tire herself out. Which meant another late-night, solo lesson. She tiptoed out of her room, making sure not to disturb the other two girls who appeared to be asleep…Well, Seika did, at least. Tochi seemed to still be awake, muttering to herself while tapping at one of those really old Playstation Portable consoles, saying something about “Pamela” under her breath.

She headed out and went to her usual late-night practice room, as usual expecting noone to be there and opening the door without a care in the world, half-naked as she was still in her sleepwear. Sleepwear that consisted of pretty much a sports bra and shorts. She suddenly noticed someone else was in the room, and blinked, still not embarrassed whatsoever…Then blushed as she realised what she was wearing. “A-ah, it’s no problem…You didn’t really wake me up, I headed her myself because I couldn’t sleep.” Miyuki had, by now, realised that the other girl was Chiho, one of the other 78th generation girls that she had seen a lot of times during practice, but had never really had the chance to talk to.
