Finally!
For once, Ritsuko had managed to sleep in on a day off without anyone waking her up or otherwise demanding her attention. Although she had a feeling her good luck wouldn’t last very long, she had slept through most of the day, and it was late afternoon when she finally made her way downstairs, hungry.
Sure enough, her bad luck ran out just then, when she made it to the kitchen, as Chef Papa informed her he didn’t have any food left for lunch. Noticing the large amount of food Miyuki had, and not wanting to starve, Ritsuko went on over to the table, sitting down next to the understudy.
“I don’t suppose you’d be willing to share with your dear, hungry teacher, would you?” she asked.
Miyuki had, as usual, been dancing around the dorms in the morning, humming absentmindedly to herself while doing so and, as per usual, finding that she was suddenly hungry when lunchtime rolled around. She wandered into the dining area, waving to the other members seated around there, and went up to Chef Papa to get her usual, extremely large portion of food. Seeing as she was rather late there, it was a little less than she usually had - rather than her usual 5 or 6 servings of everything, she only seemed to get 4 this time. Still, it was enough to sustain her; she figured she could always come back for more later as the kitchen appeared to be out of food for now.
Heading over to a table and sitting down, she started to dig in. The weird looks that she had drawn from the other members from the beginning had completely receded by now, and they were all used to her eating a mammoth amount of food whenever she was in the dining room. After all, she still didn’t eat as much as Mayuyu did; Miyuki didn’t think that any human could eat that much. She noticed someone sitting down next to her, and looked up to see the former Sasshi the 7th, the now Ritsuko-sensei. She looked at her food, then back at her, then back at the food, and reluctantly pushed one of the servings over, apparently deciding that one of the people she idolised since childhood was slightly more important than her lunch. “There ya go, Ritsuko-sensei,” Miyuki said, going back to devouring her (still huge) serving.
