Miyuki meets Tsubasa! ~The Concert Challenge~
“Of course!” Miyuki said, eyes twinkling. “Right now, I only have a few fans…But I’m sure that if I grab opportunities like this, that number will increase more and more! So that’s why I’m gonna give it my all, no matter how big or small the stage, whether I’m in the centre or in the back!” She stopped, breathless with anticipation. “Uwaaa~! But for my first concert after joining 0048 to be such a massive one…” She scratched her head tentatively. “I’m a little nervous!”
Tsubasa pushed her glasses up with a small smile. “Spirit and determination certainly make you stick out. Stick to your guns and you’ll go far.”
She looked at the girl, still smiling though calmer now. “You should be.” The former successor couldn’t help but boast. “You’ll not only be on the same stage as your senior kenkyuusei, but the successors too. Not to mention, us past members will be there too - and the fans certainly haven’t forgotten us.”
Silently, she hoped that the yells from the crowd would prove they weren’t has beens - she wasn’t a fan of eating her words, after all.
“I know!” Miyuki said, excited and eyes twinkling. “I was a huge fan of your’s when you were Mariko, so to be able to perform on the same stage…It’s a dream come true! But rest assured!” She stuck out her fist in a challenging way. “Someday, I’ll surpass all of you, and I’ll shine the brightest!” She grinned cheekishly, but still completely serious - Miyuki was the type to aim for the top no matter what, even if it meant she had to start from the bottom, or in this case, the back. She had the confidence to know that if she continued to chase her dream, she would eventually reach her goal.
The beep of the clock interrupted her thoughts, and she glanced over at it. “A-ah! Look at the time! I have to get changed to get ready for the concert!” She rushed out past Tsubasa, calling back behind her as she went. “I’m looking forward to performing with you, Mariko-sam~ Ah, Tsubasa-san!”
