Miyuki meets Tsubasa! ~The Concert Challenge~
Tsubasa had recently put up a list for a ‘super concert’ on Retrostar. Miyuki was rightfully excited - it was not only her first time leaving Akibastar, but also her first big concert as a 0048 kenkyuusei. She skimmed down the list, checking for which songs she’d be performing in.
‘Hmm…Bacchkoi K, RIVER, Aruji Naki Sono Koe…Ah, I’ll be performing with Acchan the 12th in Seifuku Jama wo Suru! Katamoi Finally will be with Tochi, which should be fun~ Sugar Rush, Sakura no Shiori, Aitakatta, Koisuru Fortune Cookie…And then the Festival at the end! Awesome!’ she thought.
Her eyes then spotted something unbelievable. She blinked, rubbed her eyes, blinked again…Then banged her head on the wall a few times. She then screamed, yelled deliriously and started laughing at the same time, and jumped up and down around her room.
“Center! Center! Center!” she chanted while shouting gleefully. ‘I’m the center in Oogoe Diamond! Oh my god, just like Jurina was! Oh my god! Oh my god! She clenched her fist in determination, a steely glint in her eyes. Jurina broke out through Oogoe Diamond! Now, it’s my chance to do the same! I’m one step closer to succeeding her now! Miyuki, fight~!’
Her ruckus had caused some disturbance, and there was a knock on her door. She opened it, expecting to find one of the other 78th generation kenkyuusei members telling her to quieten down, but found herself face to face with…Tsubasa!
“A-ah! Mariko-sam- N-no, I mean, Tsubasa-sam- N-no, T-tsubasa-chan~” she hit herself on the head. 'What the hell? Tsubasa-chan?' “S-sorry, Tsubasa-san! What can I do for you?”
Tsubasa was walking the halls, giving herself a quick break from her work when she heard some noise. Is someone screaming? The girls could get a little rowdy at times, but it didn’t sound like there was a group… Following the noise, she ended up outside of the dorm of some of the 78th generation girls.
After she knocked, Miyuki, the oldest member answered. Stuttering a bunch of names before she got it right (finally, she thought, and what the hell is with saying “-chan”?), the girl looked quite frazzled. With a raised eyebrow, Tsubasa asked her in a non-believing voice if everything was alright. “After all, the noise here seems to suggest otherwise.”
“A-ah, yes! Of course, everything’s alright! Everything’s great! Amazing!” Miyuki blurted out, before covering her mouth with her eyes wide, wondering if she seemed rude to Tsubasa. “I-I’m just a little excited, after all…Because of this!”
She flourished the setlist that she had been reading before, flashing a wide smile. She then ran forward and hugged Tsubasa - almost tackling her - before backing off just as suddenly and bowing her head down apologetically. “U-um, sorry about that! I’m just so happy that you made me center in Oogoe Diamond! I-I’m not very experienced yet, but I’ll make sure not to disappoint you!”
