Five strangers entered Oohashi..
“Ah…I don’t know anything about the fashion of this time though,” Miyuki said, a little worried. “So I’m hoping you can advise me on that!” That much was true - Miyuki had come from a time where the commonly found animals used for making clothes, like leather and wool, were pretty much extinct. As such, she had never seen, much less worn, anything from the 21st century.
Miyuki blinked as Taiga blushed and screamed, and a smirk crept across her smile. Ehehe~ So she’s the pure type, hmm? Miyuki thought to herself mischievously, her prankster mentality kicking in involuntarily. Mmm…I’ll have some fun with her later then! “Nothing, nothing,” Miyuki said, waving it off as though stripping to her underwear in front of another girl was completely normal. It actually was, due to her being in 0048, which meant that the girls all shared a changing room together. “More importantly…Shopping time!” She grabbed Taiga’s arm enthusiastically.
Taiga had to take a moment, trying to gather together that maybe it was normal for their people to change openly like that, that certainly wouldn;t do here. “U-uh.. yeah shopping time.” Taiga nodded, shaking her head as she walked out of the door, slightly pull miyuki alone behind her.
“That whole undressing thing.. Don’t do that outside.. okay?” She mumbled as they exited the complex.
Miyuki giggled and shook her head. “Of course not, of course not! I’m not that stupid, hehe~” She poked her tongue out and promptly almost tripped over, managing to catch herself just in time. She had started noticing now that people were giving her weird looks because of her uniform, but she decided not to comment on it - after all, this wasn’t her time, and she wasn’t one to judge. They passed two teenage girls who whispered to each other, but Miyuki just smiled at them and kept moving on. It was what an idol did - no matter how others viewed you, you had to smile and keep being you.
‘You’ll get haters because of it. But you have to fight through that. Because for every hater out there who doesn’t like you, there’s a hundred fans who wish for you to remain you’. Miyuki smiled as she remembered the words of advice that her aunt had given her.
By now, they had entered what Miyuki assumed was the shopping district - although in her mind, this district was tiny. On Akibastar, the shopping district buildings far towered above even the tallest towers on Earth…And those were the smaller buildings too. Miyuki spotted a poster in a nearby CD shop, and squealed. She ran over to it and stared at it disbelievingly. 'I-i-it’s the original AKB48 members!' she thought, half delirious. She pointed at the poster of the mega-popular idol group, staring at Taiga and gaping but no words coming out.
