Miyuchan spots Mayuyu!
“Nope! Ah well, not in a real one anyway…” Miyuki said, scratching her head. “I was in the judo, karate, and gymnastics clubs at school though! And since all my friends were guys, I’d get in scuffles with them sometimes…But that was when we were younger,” she added, laughing as the ‘scuffling’ became a lot more awkward as Miyuki had developed more feminine features.
“Sounds interesting!” Mayuyu said. “We should do a small practice fight sometimes, where I don’t use any of my launchers or missiles, it would be fun!”
“Sure!” Miyuki agreed enthusiastically, just happy to get a chance to move around and be active, even though she knew she had no chance against a half-cyborg, half-human girl who probably wouldn’t even flinch if Miyuki hit her seriously. I wonder if she’s got metal plating underneath her skin as well? Miyuki mused. It’s like the Terminator! It’s good Sarah Connor isn’t here. She laughed internally at her own reference, then realised it was lame and stopped.
“I’m curious though,” Miyuki said, leaning back. “Mayuyu MK2 was a Center Nova, wasn’t she? And she disappeared, just like the other Center Novas, even though she was a cyborg like you. Does that mean that anyone, or anything, could be affected by the phenomenon? What if a cat became the Center Nova? Would it also disappear?”
