Miyuchan spots Chieri!
“Yeah, but I feel like she adopted a bit of the original Mariko-sama’s sadistic side,” Miyuki grumbled, thinking about the trial that the 78th generation girls had to go through to get into 0048…The trial that had left her with several bruises that had hurt like crazy for days.
Miyuki was well on her way through her food already, having finished one serving already and halfway through her second. She went through with an almost animal-like ferocity, wolfing down the food like she would never eat again. Finishing her second serving before Chieri even got to the table, she pulled the third serving towards herself then looked up at Chieri, who appeared to be slightly amused. “What?” Miyuki said defensively. “I’m hungry!” She then proceeded to race through her last plate of food, and stood up immediately to get more.
Chieri laughed at the comment, agreeing silently. She watched the older kenkyuusei amusedly. “Oh, nothing. Nothing at all.”
When Miyuki came back, she laughed again. “Maybe we should set you, Sayaka and Mayuyu up for a eating contest!”
“But Mayuyu would easily win,” Miyuki commented, already halfway through her fourth serving. “I mean, she’s a cyborg, so she wouldn’t even need to eat, would she? But when she does, I don’t think she has a full capacity or anything, so she could probably eat for days if we didn’t stop her.” Speaking of eating for days, Miyuki had already sped through her fourth serving and was looking longingly towards the kitchen counter, but was seemingly holding herself back a bit because Chef Papa appeared to be out of food for now.
She sighed and leaned back on the chair. “Well, now that I’m full…Well, not really, but close enough, let’s go do something!” She leaped out of her chair, eyes sparkling. “Hey, hey, why don’t I show you around Akibastar? I know you’ve already been here a long time, but I’ve lived here my entire life, so I’m sure I could show you some things that you haven’t seen before!”
