Miyuchan lands in a dangerous world!
Miyuki cautiously walked down the back-alley, trying not to stand out too much…Although that was already an impossible mission, considering her kenkyuusei uniform which definitely stood out here. She ignored the strange looks she was getting from passerbys, and peeked around the corner, noticing that there was some sort of market there…Or so she thought. Miyuki had never been out of Akibastar, and on that planet, markets were well…shopping malls. Over here, they were a few wooden stalls erected up and merchants shouting their wares. Wherever here is, Miyuki thought to herself. Tsubasa had always warned the girls not to get lost when they landed on a new planet - due to the kirara drive, sometimes they landed on planets they had never heard of before, and where the inhabitants had never heard of 0048 either. But Miyuki, on landing on the first planet since leaving Akibastar, had immediately run out and gotten hopelessly lost.
“Well, at least the people here are human,” she muttered to herself. She tapped a passerby on the shoulder, relying on her outfit’s inbuilt translation system and hoping it would detect the language on this planet. “Excuse me, have you seen a giant flying spaceship around here?“
The man gave her a look like she was crazy, and shrugged her off then kept walking. Miyuki raised an eyebrow. Alright, this is either an entertainment ban planet, or one that hasn’t been explored by 0048 or DES yet. At least they’re not primitive.
She grabbed another person and posed the same question, again getting the blank expression. She sighed in frustration, turned around and bumped into someone. “Ouch! Ah, sorry…”
Catching hold of the young woman whom had bumped into him, Alberio made sure that she fall over before letting her go, “Are you alright miss?“ His voice was kind and gentle, almost like that of an older sibling. As he spoke, he made sure to make eye contact with Miyuki. A habit that he had been taught by his mother, when he was a child.
Miyuki blinked as the man grabbed her. She didn’t scream like most other girls did - after all, most of her friends before she had joined 0048 had been guys, so she was used to contact with them. Nevertheless, being touched by a strange man was still…a weird experience for Miyuki, as it usually never happened except at handshake events. The eye contact was unnerving as well, especially with the golden eye staring right at her. However, when he spoke, it was kind…But Miyuki was still suspicious, especially with the sword scabbard she could see hanging from his belt. So this world still uses swords and stuff, huh, she thought, raising an eyebrow. Not an entertainment ban planet then, otherwise DES would’ve likely recruited a young man such as this one and supplied him with a gun already.
"Y-yeah, I’m alright,” Miyuki said, breaking out of her reverie. “By the way, having you seen a giant flying spaceship around?” She was bouncing on her heels impatiently, as though withholding an enormous amount of energy.
