Miyuchan spots Mayuyu!
“Mayuyu greets good morning.” Mayuyu said to the young kenkyuusei. Mayuyu thought it was pretty interesting to watch someone else eat as much she would. She also had a mountain of food on her plate, considerably even taller than Miyuki’s.
Mayuyu then began eating her food, at a rate that would make a pro jealous. “Mayuyu wonders, how can a normal girl eat so much?“ she said, to Miyuki.
Miyuki blinked, wondering not for the first time how old Mayuyu actually was. She was a cyborg, so she wouldn’t age like normal girls…right? And she was Mayuyu Type-3 - as far as Miyuki knew, there had been an unbroken line of Mayuyu successors since the original. And as they were the 78th generation kenkyuusei now for 0048…It would mean that the 3 Mayuyu successors would have been spread over the 80 or so years after 0048 had been created. Miyuki shook her head, ridding it of all the confusing thoughts. Math had never been a strong subject for her, so she gave up trying to figure out how old Mayuyu was.
Instead, she concentrated on Mayuyu’s tower of food, which was easily two times or more higher than her’s. She whistled. "Wow. As expected of the cyborg of 0048.”
Going back to her own food, she considered Mayuyu’s question. “I dunno, I always thought this was normal till I came to 0048 and everyone was eating so little.” She pondered it for a while, then shrugged. “Guess I just have a big appetite?” The truth was that because Miyuki was so high energy, it required a lot of food to keep her so active, but she wasn’t aware of it herself.
