rinne-amaya:

Rinne couldn’t stop laughing. “Oh my god your amazing…" she blinked. “Wait… Room assignments…" she groaned. “I don’t know where my room is or any of the people in them!“ she started mentally freaking out while appearing calm on the inside. ”What if they hate me?“ “What if I can’t get along with them?" Question after question kept filling her head till finally she gave up. She sighed and looked at Miyuki. “I really need to get over this shy thing” she went back to the little bit of food left on plate and relaxed.

Miyuki looked up, tilting her head to one side. “How so?” she asked, already standing up to get her fourth serving. She had lived by herself for 7 years now, so this was always how much she ate - she had never really noticed anyone else eating any less. She had always assumed that this was completely normal…even with the weird stares that were coming from some of the other girls sitting at the tables scattered around the dining room. On the other hand, Mayuyu had just walked in and had seemingly taken Miyuki’s empty plates as a challenge - she had sat down and was eating with abnormal speed, already almost through her first plate.

Miyuki came back and sat back down, eating contemplatively instead of like a wild animal the way she was before. “Room assignments, huh…Well, everyone already has their own rooms, and I think it’s somewhere around 2 to 4 to a room, isn’t it? That means us 78th generation kenkyuusei will be put into either 2 or 4 rooms…” She chewed slowly, looking out into blank space with a thinking look on her face, and ignoring Mayuyu on the other end of the dining room, already on what seemed to be her sixth plate of food. “Personally, I wouldn’t mind rooming with anyone, but I really wanted to room with one of the successors! After all, what better way to learn from them than to live with them?”
