“I’m sure it is.” she responded with a half-smirk, adding a small giggle to it as well. As of pranks, Kaori certainly didn’t know much about it. Well, yes, the kids at her school usually pranks her with fake creatures and such, though she never once fallen for them. Yup, her older friend standing before her was a prankster for sure. The goth eyed on the live cockroach in the jar, once Miyuki pulled it out of her pocket, “Pretty…” she said as she stared. A lot of people usually calls her a ‘freak’ because of liking cockroaches, moths, and other creatures, but to be honest, she finds it very neat and fascinating.
She chuckled uncontrollably as Miyuki rolled her tongue out, “The cat-shaped one is also very cute.” she told the girl, heading over to where the cookie dough was rolled, pressing the cookie cutter gently on the dough to create a perfectly cut-out dough. She repeatedly pressed on the cookie dough with different shaped cutters.
“I think that’s enough.” she said, putting the pieces one by one on the tray, “Do you want to decorate it or just leave it like this?” she questioned the other girl, awaiting for a response.
Miyuki raised an eyebrow. “Pretty? First time I’ve heard a girl say that. They usually scream, run away, start crying, or a combination of all three of the above.” She shrugged, then grinned at Kaori. “You’re just a little awesome, y'know? Maybe I can introduce you to my other…err, 'friends’. Just don’t tell Tsubasa-san!” Miyuki was pretty sure that Tsubasa would confiscate all her little 'friends’ if she found out - not that Miyuki didn’t have others prepared, but it was always inconvenient to lose some.
“It sure is! Cats over bunnies any day!” Miyuki said, stamping down on the cookie dough with only the cat cutter, completely disregarding the fact that she had to use other ones. Finishing her lot, she took a step back and admired her small army of kittens, then glanced over at where Kaori was arranging her pieces. She noticed that Kaori had used plenty of other shapes, and she panicked for a second, then shrugged. Oh well, too late now! Miyuki though, gathering her cats and taking them over to Kaori. She started laying them out the same way that Kaori had, so concentrated on her work that she didn’t realised she had started humming again, this time 'Gingham Check’. No wonder her friends called her the 'Human AKB Jukebox’,
Miyuki started adding small chocolate buttons as noses on the kittens, then looked up when Kaori asked her something, not quite catching it. “Huh?” She blinked. “Oh, decorations! Well, err…” She looked down at her work, where she had already reached the point where several of the kittens had etched in whiskers, chocolate buttons noses and eyes, and a couple even had sprinkling of hundreds-and-thousands to add some colour.
