Kaori continued to caress Miyuki’s hair and comfort her, this was actually the first time she cried out of happiness, not bitterness. She paused as she heard Miyuki calling her by what her brother usually calls her, “Himeka…?” she smiled warmly at Miyuki, she doesn’t care if the other girls looked at both of them, she just wanted to be by the girl’s side, “I’m sure that we’re going to be roommates. No doubt about it!” she held the girl as she collapsed, trying to make Miyuki comfortable as possible.
As the red haired girl stood up with Kaori’s help and support, the girl pointed out at the concert while talking to her, “Of course we will! Someday we’ll stand on that stage, singing our favorite songs.” she responded towards Miyuki’s unfinished words, grinning at her, still crying a little.
“Itsuka no negai wa. Tsuchi no naka de nemutte ~♪” she sang while dropping her last tear for the day.
Miyuki swallowed hard, and nodded. She wiped the tears from her face, and looked towards the concert stage again, this time with more conviction and sureness in her eyes. “Yakusoku no jikoku ni kibou no me ga deru nda,” she sang after Kaori, her voice clear and unburdened by tears any longer. The wish you made one day lies sleeping in the earth. At the promised time, a sprout of hope will push forth. Their wishes had been heard, the wishes that had been buried for so long. They had finally sprung forth, and they could look towards a brighter future.
