Welcoming the 78th Generation
The dorm was abuzz with the news of the 78th Generation. Only the top 5 members Chieri, Mayuyu, Acchan, Yuuko, and Takamina were the members at the concert on a usual final audition planet, Pandorastar. The top 5 members were coming back with the 78th Generation hopef- or now she should consider them kenkyuusei. She couldn’t wait to see who passed. She knew about Aika-chan, Tochi, and Kaori, but she didn’t know about the other girls, and she wondered who the new kenkyuusei would be.
Miyuki waltzed into the dorm, enthusiastic and bubbly as ever. She couldn’t believe it! She had passed the auditions! She was a part of 0048 now! Perhaps it was a few generations later than she would’ve liked given her age but…it was getting in that mattered, right? In her giddiness, she danced right into someone.
“Ow! Ahh, sorry about that! I do that a lot when I’m not concentrating on my surroundi-” Her mouth dropped open as she realised who she had just run into. “Nyan-nyan?! Oh my god, I’m a huge fan!“ She grabbed the other girl’s hands and shook them enthusiastically. “I’m going to be your kouhai from now on! I’m part of the new 78th generation, Takahashi Miyuki! Nice to meet you!” Miyuki tried not to let her mouth run off the way it usually did, but it was an effort holding herself back meeting one of the people she really admired.
“Eh, ok!” Kojiharu said. She was at first a bit surpirsed when the new 78th Generation understudy first made an impression on her, but then she remembered that’s how they all were. She remembered Yuuko just nearly bombarded Acchan the 13th when they first entered the dorm as understudies, and she remembered that she admired the last Love-tan as well, so she soon replied.
“Ah, Miyuki, hope you can catch up with the strict lessons and all the buzz about being a hopeful generation of understudies~” Kojiharu replied.
Miyuki nodded enthusiastically, then laughed a little. “Eh? Hopeful generation? No matter how hopeful we lot are, I don’t think we come close to living up to what the 77th generation did. We have a huge shadow looming over us, y'know? Being the next generation after that one, I mean. Huge expectations. But!” She grinned confidently. “I’ll surpass them! I’ll surpass all of them and shine the brightest!” Her demeanour was reminiscent of Yuko’s, and she certainly was the type to aim extremely high. “But for now, I’m just your kouhai!” She said, poking her tongue out cheekishly.
