“I know, Miyuchan…let’s just do our best, together.” Kaori caressed Miyuki’s hair, hugging her even more tightly while sobbing on the girl’s shoulder, “We’ve made it this far. I’m sure a lot of people are proud of you.” she kept hugging Miyuki, “Father…Nii-san…I did it.” she whispered to herself, looking at the sky while feeling the rain pouring.

“I hope we’ll be roommates, Miyuchan.” she told the girl, smiling happily.

Miyuki continued to wail at the sky, oblivious to her surroundings. She hugged the other girl tighter and tighter, while not realising that she was even hugging someone. She hadn’t cried this much since her father’s funeral, although it was out of joy rather than grief this time. She was starting to draw weird looks from some of the girls who hadn’t passed, but she was completely unaware of them. All that mattered in the world right now was that she had passed. The feeling was indescribable, incredible.

After a while, her wails were reduced to sobs, and she collapsed into Kaori, completely exhausted from the crying and the fight beforehand. She appeared to be capable of speech again, although what she was saying was hard to make out in between the sobs. “Himeka…Himeka! Yes, yes! I really hope we can be roommates!”

She slowly got up, both supporting the other girl and using her as support. She looked forward at the stadium where the concert had just finished. “Soon…soon, we’ll be on that stage, Himeka! Soo-” She was interrupted by her exhaustion caught up with her, and she sighed, shaking her head as she realised that even talking was going to be an effort.
