himekaori:

Always shining, aim for the center!: himekaori: Kaori decided to take a stroll around Akibastar for the…

Kaori watched Miyuki as she demonstrated how to walk ‘happily’, it’s kinda true that most of the people who come lives in a planet under the entertainment ban have this saddened aura, I guess she had this aura as well, “Hm…Akibastar citizens are amazing, everybody here, including you~” she grinned towards the girl and continuing her words, “I came from Ichibastar, definitely not my favorite planet…ever.” she chuckled a bit.

Kaori’s eyes widened, the girl in front of her sure had a big mouth, though she likes it and she listens to every single word that the red haired girl says, “Don’t worry! I’m the listener type anyways.” she said, smiling at the girl. Her rose brooch was kinda off, so she fixed it a little while hearing the girl’s words very carefully, well, she wanted to become friends with all of the 78th gen hopefuls by the time she got to Akibastar.

“6 years? Wow - that’s impressive! And you do it to earn money as well, which makes it more impressive.” Kaori walked a bit further to see the sight of a simple lemonade stand, “Then, it’s Miyukin-san~! Well, I have a nickname also, but my brother only calls me that…H-Himeka is the nickname. S-sorry, sorry! You can call me whatever you’d like though, Miyukin-san.” she smiled, but it quickly faded once she heard that Miyuki had stopped talking, Miyuki’s conversation with her was interesting, though why did Miyuki stop and mumble about talking to much of Miyuki’s self?

“Ah - it’s really okay, Miyukin-san, you can talk about yourself more 'cause it’s interesting!” the two girls paused for quite a long time, to get rid of this awkwardness, Kaori decided to tell Miyuki about herself, “W-well, if you insist…I’ve been living on a planet of hatred and I’m sick of it, though when I arrived at Akibastar, somehow, my life became to light. Although, I’ll dearly miss my father and brother whom are still in Ichibastar, but they told me they were going to move here soon.” she looked down to the ground and half frowned, “Anyways, I love to play the piano and sing…dancing is fun, though I’m not that good. Do you know Myao the 4th? My aunt succeeded the name and I’ve become determined to surpass my aunt ever since I knew she succeeded Myao the 4th! And -” Whoops, she said a bit too much, but knowing that Miyuki had been hearing her along made her really happy.

“I’m kinda thirsty, Miyukin-san. Can I buy a lemonade from you?”

“I knew it!” Miyuki said triumphantly. “Everyone I’ve met from Ichibastar walks like that. It’s not as pronounced in your walk though. You’ve enjoyed the happiness of 0048 before, so you have a little bit of that happy in your walk.” Her eyes zoomed on in the small movement of Kaori’s hand on the rose brooch. “Ah! That’s so cute! It suits you so well too, especially with that outfit! Me? I’m not really the fashion conscious type.” She laughed and gestured at herself up and down, pointing out the scruffy jeans, loose fitting shirt and grubby looking apron over it. “Doesn’t help that I’m tall either, with not much of a chest. If I cut my hair short, I’d probably be mistaken as a guy. But doesn’t matter! I don’t need to have a sense of fashion if we’re gonna be provided with uniforms anyway, right?” she added as an afterthought.

“Yup, yup! That lemonade stand has been there for longer than some of the kids around here, ha! I’m pretty sure there are a few who’ve grown up drinking from it, since my parents ran it before m-” She stopped talking suddenly, and turned away, wiping away the involuntary tear from her eye and hoping that Kaori hadn’t seen it, or noticed the lapse. “A-ah, Himeka? That’s cute!” she quickly added, turning around again all smiles and her perky attitude back. “And drop the -san, please! Formalities are for formal events! And I don’t think getting stopped by the random lemonade girl counts as a formal event, huh?” she said, grinning cheekishly.

“You can play the piano?” Miyuki said, impressed. “I’m no good at musical instruments at all! Well, maybe the drums, but I’ve never really played them before…I’m just supposing I’d be alright at them since I like concentrating on beats and rhythms so much! Like with footsteps! You can tell how people walk just by the rhythm of the ste-” Her eyes widened and her mouth stopped moving, hanging open as she registered what Kaori had just said. “Wait a sec! You’re the niece of Myao the 4th? Are you kidding me? My second cousin was in 0048 at the same time as she was! Ah, she was just a kenkyuusei though, and never succeeded anyone, but she really looked up to your aunt! Do you want to succeed Myao’s name as well, then? Ah, of course, lemonade! We can talk about this over a drink! And don’t worry about buying, this one’s on me! After all, it’s not that great anyway,” she added, poking her tongue out.
