Miyuki spots Aika!
Wandering around Akibastar was starting to become quite the habit for Aika… and possibly a dangerous one at that. 10 minutes into her now-habitual morning walk, and already she had no clue where she was. Only that there were a lot of houses.
Of course, she hadn’t realized Akibastar had a rather large housing development area until she herself had stumbled into it, although in retrospect, the assumption was quite stupid. You idiot, she thought. Where do you think all those fans come from?
Her thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a random redhead near a house calling out and waving in her direction. She looked behind herself, feeling foolish when she realized no one was there. Aika looked back, startled. How in the world had the random girl gotten to her so fast?
“Oh, another hopeful?” Aika asked. “I’m auditioning for the 78th generation too.“ She smiled at the other girl. “I’m Watanabe Aika. It’s nice to meet you too!” She nodded, looking around. “Um… is this where you live?“ She asked.
Miyuki laughed at the startled look on the girl’s face. It was obvious that she wasn’t from around here. Most of the neighbours and people who lived in the vicinity were used to Miyuki running around at her high-energy pace, which meant that pretty much everyone had been surprised by her at least once when she had popped up beside them with no prior warning. But they had gotten used to it by now.
"Yup, yup! I’m Takahashi Miyuki, but you can just call me Miyukin or Takamiyu! Whichever you prefer, everyone calls me by those names. Although there are some who call me Bubbly. I wonder why.” She started moving in place, seemingly unaware that she had begun to dance by herself while humming the tune of ‘Oogoe Diamond’. “Mhmm! This is where I live! Born and raised on Akibastar! Best. Planet. Ever! Because of 0048, of course! Ah, you’re not from around here, are you? I can tell by the way you walk! What planet are you from? 0048 really does bring around lots of people from all over the universe, don’t they?” She paused. “Ah, I’m sorry! I can get overexcited and talk too much when I meet new people. Your turn!”
