Miyukin spots Kaori!

Miyuki blinked the sleep out of her eyes, and stretched in bed. “Another day, another adventure!” she said to noone as she jumped out of bed as energetically as she could. Running to the bathroom, she quickly brushed her teeth, sprinted down the stairs, grabbing her apron and the keys, then yelled behind herself as she shut the front door behind her.

“I’m off now, I’ll be back later!”

Noone replied. Of course noone replied. Her father was dead, and her mother was in a coma in hospital. But Miyuki felt that if she didn’t at least keep up her past pattern once in a while, she’d become overwhelmed by loneliness.

Running to her lemonade stand just outside of her garden, she spotted someone walking down the road who looked slightly out of place. Why is she wearing that gothic costume? Not something I see every day on Akibastar. Unless…Ah! I’ll ask her!

Sprinting past her lemonade stand and catching up with the girl, she tapped her on the shoulder while jogging in place. Miyuki, for one, was someone who had to always be moving to expend her huge energy supply. “Hey! I’m Takahashi Miyuki, and I own the lemonade stand down the road there! I just saw you, and I was wondering if you were here for the 0048 78th generation auditions? It’s not everyday that I see an outfit from Ichibastar here.”
